No more room for excuses...

Another Disclaimer here guys. Once again I had "started" this and, welll, it never went anywhere, but as you can see, I referenced it in the "Another Sunday .... Home Made Ravioli", so thought it best to publish it (and finish it while i was at it).

We all have excuses. Especially when it comes to why were too busy. Mine was getting married. And that was 13 years in the making. So now when my best friend pointed out that her expectation was for me to now start seriously blogging, I really had no excuse.

There have never really been any reasons for my to not blog consistently and professionally, but there were always excuses, and the littered debris of my previous attempts can be seen scattered all over the Internet landscape.

So now I start for real. This is one of 4 blogs I intend on keeping manned (the librarian in me simply wont let me have one single hodgepodge of a blog), and this one in particular is dedicated to showing the world the food that comes into my life and out of my kitchen. More of a collage of snapshots of my food experiences than a long and detailed journey of my food meddling (these can be found on the other 3 blogs: 8 days a week,What I cooked on Sunday and Hungry yet?). And it even has an accompanying Pinterest for those who prefer to salivate over the pictures rather than the words :)

And the most apt place to start seems to be the trip overseas we took with our friends to celebrate our recent nuptials. So enjoy:

Our Mickey Mouse ears (not food related, but i had to include them)

Stromboli & Calzone!!!

A sub sandwich that could only come from america. Jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, chips, roast beef, gravy, mayo chicken chippies.

And Mr G's hot dog, for comparison.

While you were away ...

Ok.

I will try an remember what was what and name each photo... but no promises.

And unfortunately no recipes, because some of these i don't even remember making :)

Ok, I think it is one of the snack selections from our epic game days. Looks like cheese stuffed meatballs, Chicken wings (siracha and lemon maybe) and my favorite "something in pastry"

Ah! The pizza experiment. I thought i was a bit risque with ham, salami, capsicum, prawn and avocado. But the Mr G pulled out the big guns and created his monstrosity that was cheese spread, bonito, hoisin, anchovy. There was more, but i have blocked it from my memory. Eating it was like being punched in the face.
